WYLDE WOMAN

RETREAT

SUMMER SOLSTICE - WALES UK

The Journey of the Wylde Woman, the Call to the Wild Within.

A deep immersion in women’s ceremony, rituals, movement, sound and embodied practices. A weekend of spiritual medicine for women ready to shed what no longer serves and step into their full power.

This is ancestral remembering. Celtic wisdom. An intimate gathering of women coming home to themselves.

The retreats is held deep in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, on ancestral Celtic lands. A beautifully renovated 17th century Welsh farmhouse, nestled in complete seclusion.

This retreat is for the woman ready to shed the layers of conditioning, expectation, and old patterns that no longer serve her.

An immersive 4-day retreat blending somatic practices, Celtic ritual, and indigenous medicine ways of the British Isles, during the powerful Summer Solstice in the heart of the Welsh mountains.

Led by published author on Pagan Rituals and ritual facilitator Pip Wylde, this is not a retreat. It is an initiation. This retreat is open to only 6 women, you’ll each have your own luxury room, and you’ll receive pre retreat sessions online with Pip, sacred circles, journals and guides.

This is the culmination of everything Pip has learned and embodied. A convergence of ancient Celtic wisdom, somatic practices, shadow work that transforms at the deepest level, and the indigenous ways that honour the sacred relationship between us and earth.

This retreat offers a unique opportunity to align with your divine self, exploring your inner landscape while surrounded by like-minded women.

You'll be held in a deeply nurturing luxury sanctuary, amongst breathtaking countryside. Our ritual home is a 17th century Welsh farmhouse, steeped in history, yet with a sense of indulgence and comfort.

Gather around roaring fires for evening rituals and storytelling that reconnect you to ancient wisdom and your own inner knowing.

In this sacred space where personal growth, authentic connection, and soulful rejuvenation become possible, you'll find yourself embraced by both the mystical energy of Wales and the luxurious touches that elevate your retreat experience to something truly extraordinary.

MOVEMENT | RITUALs | CEREMONY

Julia

Pip, thank you for holding space for such a profound experience of self discovery and seeing answers within.

The retreat took me to such a depth. Now, I can grasp the understanding of shadow work and self discipline.

This retreat reflected the work of a great mentor through a journey of healing. Everyday was planned out with fine detail, to take the journey inwards, listening to the answers that lie within. Hours of meditation, some guided, silent sauna, dream journey, time for self reflection, pine forests, nourishing meals - all contributed to the complete surrender, of heart opening, and revealing love and compassion.

I recommend this for anyone who is looking to slow down from a fast pace lifestyle, reset, reflect, explore, self discovery and shadow work. Pip’s guidance will help you reach places you didn’t know existed.

The Journey of the Wylde Woman

An immersive 4-day retreat blending shadow work, somatic practices, Celtic ritual, and indigenous medicine ways during the powerful Summer Solstice in the heart of the Welsh mountains.

SOMATIC MOVEMENT & MORNING RITUALS

Soma Practices & Meditation

We begin each day by coming home to ourselves.

Morning journaling rituals ground you in the present moment before we move into embodied movement practice. This isn't structured yoga or choreographed dance. This is free movement that ignites the energy within your body, allowing whatever wants to move through you to be expressed and released.

We shake. We sway. We activate sound. We let the body lead.

After the aliveness of movement comes the gift of deep rest. Long, delicious meditations that allow you to drop beneath the noise of the thinking mind and into the vast inner landscape. Here, in the stillness, the real work begins.

This daily rhythm of activation and rest, of moving and being, creates the container for transformation. Your nervous system learns it's safe to feel, safe to release, safe to simply be.

SOUND HEALING & DREAM JOURNEY RITUALS

A deeper journey of rest

Sound is ancient medicine. The human voice, the song of our soul. These are the tools our ancestors used to shift consciousness, to heal, to journey between worlds.

Through Celtic Imrama (soul voyage) practices, you'll be guided on visualisation journeys into the inner realms of consciousness. These aren't passive meditations. They're active explorations of the Otherworld, where you'll meet ancestors, receive guidance, and retrieve parts of yourself you didn't know were missing.

This is where the magic happens. In the liminal space between waking and dreaming, where the rational mind finally quiets and the soul can speak.

Sound healing bathes you in frequencies that penetrate deeply. Through liberating voice activation practices, offering our cries and screams to the Welsh landscape, your soul remembers something it forgot. The cells soften. The nervous system recalibrates. You drop into a level of rest and healing that most of us never access in our daily lives.

DEEPLY HELD CIRCLE & CEREMONY

Powerful Ceremony and Shadow exploration

The circle is where we do the deepest work.

In sharing circles and ceremonies, we create a foundation of trust and witnessing that allows the shadow work to go deeper than you've ever gone before. This isn't therapy. This isn't coaching. This is something older, something that women have always done when they gather: we tell the truth, we witness each other, we hold what cannot be held alone.

Shadow exploration asks you to look at the parts of yourself you've been hiding, denying, or running from. The rage you're not allowed to feel. The desire you've been taught to suppress. The power you're terrified to claim. We bring it all into the light, not to judge it, but to integrate it.

These inner explorations support and deepen the ritual practices. The combination creates a profound experience, a powerful immersion in healing space that is facilitated carefully and lovingly to meet you exactly where you are.

You'll open to new possibilities for connection with yourself, with the sacred, and with the women in circle with you. This is personal expansion at the soul level.

A sacred ritual JOURNEY

Noble Silence and digital detox

The retreat rituals, meditations, and daily practices are carefully cultivated to hold space for a deep exploration of your inner landscape. The stillness and time spent together is profound.

No phones. A complete digital detox.

You are required to hand in your phone for the duration of the retreat. This isn't punishment. It's liberation. Without the constant pull of messages, notifications, and the world's demands on your attention, you finally have space to hear yourself.

We hold noble silence in the mornings, supporting each other in the practice of being rather than doing, of listening rather than speaking. In this silence, things emerge that have been waiting years to be heard.

The spaciousness in each day provides time for deep rest, reflection, inner listening, and slow living. You are supported to just BE. Not productive. Not performing or proving or achieving.

Just being. Just breathing. Just existing as the wild, sacred being you are.

The Location

Our ritual home is a stunning 17th century Welsh Farmhouse

We gather on sacred ground. The farmhouse sits in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty and designated International Dark Sky Reserve. This is land that still remembers the old ways.

Just 250 metres from your door lies Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in Mid and South Wales. A place of power. A threshold between worlds. We'll gather here for our Solstice sunrise ceremony, stepping into the waters as women have done for thousands of years.

Whilst we're here to do ancient work, we're not sacrificing modern comfort. The farmhouse has been renovated with exceptional attention to both sustainability and luxury.

Underfloor heating throughout ensures warmth even on cool June evenings. The heating and hot water are powered by an air source heat pump and solar panels, honouring our relationship with the earth even as we seek comfort. Two wood burning stoves add atmospheric warmth for our fireside circles.

The Farmhouse

Step into a piece of Welsh history, lovingly brought back to life. This 17th century farmhouse has been newly renovated to an exceptional standard, where original character meets contemporary luxury. Exposed beams and stone walls hold stories of centuries past, whilst underfloor heating, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and beautifully appointed rooms ensure your comfort as you do the deep work.

The heart of the house

Is the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, where we'll gather for nourishing meals prepared by our chef. A wood burning stove creates warmth and ambiance, whilst the extending table seats our circle of 8 women with room to breathe. Large windows frame views across the Brecon Beacons, a constant reminder that you're held by something far bigger than yourself.

This land has space for all of it: the gathering and the solitude, the ceremony and the silence, the intensity and the rest.

With cosy places to rest

All rooms are thoughtfully appointed with luxury linens and towels. Ensuite and shared bathrooms provide everything you need. This isn't roughing it in the name of spirituality. This is being held in comfort whilst you do the hardest and most sacred work of your life.

Your room is your refuge. Your nest. Your place to come back to yourself.

The Food by Our Private Retreat Chef Nicki

FOUNDER OF PIKNIK TABLE

Your retreat chef brings her nomadic kitchen magic, creating meals that honour both Ayurvedic wisdom and the pure joy of being truly, deeply fed.

“We LOVE to feed you. That's it. That's the heart of everything we do at PikNiktable.”

The Food

Mornings begin with fully loaded porridge - the kind that feels like a warm hug from the inside. Think toasted nuts, jewelled fruits, warming spices and just enough sweetness. Eggs and sourdough toast, fruit and teas.

Midday brings vibrant dahls and curries bursting with colour and layered flavours - the stuff that makes your taste buds sing. Fresh, seasonal, perfectly spiced.

As evening settles, you'll gather for wholesome, heart-warming soups - broths and bowls designed to ground you back into your body after a day of silence and inner work.

Every meal is crafted for optimal digestion and deep nourishment. Nicki's approach honours your body's need for balance - especially during intensive spiritual practice - while never sacrificing the pure pleasure of eating really, really good food.

Think vegetarian curries and naan breads and supper a hearty soup or stew with sourdough bread and cheeses. All meals will be family style and we will try to support allergies as best we can. If you have a serious nut allergy or concerns please contact us before booking.
